Lack of basic history and illiterate minds can only make the stark contrast between Indian and Pakistan form of governance.

India is a great democracy and as I have always maintained on this thread that no Islamic country can be compared with India, Islamic extremism has hijacked Islamic mainstream thought, it is the software that needs to be mellowed, how can democracy exist in society where the source of constitution are traditions 1400 years old.

Western democracy is alien to the arc of crisis where Islamic software is dominant we deal with that subject here. Look at the composition of Indian government today a Sikh as PM, a President a Muslim, and head of Congress a Roman Catholic this is the true testimony to the success and distinguishing factor of a tolerant society, those who even wishfully think to compare Islamic countries with Indian democratic experience are minds with little historical knowledge.

The very reason Palestinians Hamas and Iraqi baath party within the world of Islam are far more dangerous than a quasi democratic like Pakistan are the freedom of our press, our ability to say we don’t like ‘Mush’ if we don’t he doesn’t kill us or maim us, try this with Iraq pre invasion or Saudi or Bahrain today.

The free existence of this thread and its host, despite of open dissent and open condemnation of our government actions are testimony to some degree of success to stretch it to comparisons with India shows to me pettiness of mind or inability ot process information. There is no contrast what to talk of contrast rather one is a matured democracy other is a nascent experience torn within Islam and western methods of pluralism and parliamentary democracy. As a semi dictatorship one can only thank enough that we have enough freedom of expression.

We exist freely in our country, no man in black dress knocks at our doors, now we are identifiable by not just our name on Goggle search and our pictures to articles and threads will all appear, now our pictures match our face, cowards who make lame excuses as to the possibility of uses name different from person himself are so manic that they forget that real confirm is the picture, as far as we can openly dissent, I am happy with the situation we are not Jesus and not carrying the cross, we are small thread, small motives and small inferences, if that is not digestible one can kill himself with anger but to infer and compare in comparables is a shame who ever said that Indian democratic expertise is anything but short of miracle and the credit goes to malleable Hindu tradition of love and harmony against message of perpetual Jihad and conversions , countries are sum total of their pre dominant ideology, India is a shining example of secular country, we have after apse of 50 years and with help of Bush and his neo cons able to challenge this indoctrination of our country from the medieval thuggery of past and decided to change, this thread is about change that we are going through and our ability to condemn cruelty within humanity practiced by like of Arafat, Gaddafi, Yahya and others from Bangladesh to Hama and to Halebja where ever innocent blood in name of dissent is spilled we condemn it, for me my real issue is secularization of Islamic societies so that we can usher in the 21.st century with dignity.

he is coward looking for long lost recognition he never got

I use a pseudonym when posting so how would I ever receive "the long lost recognition that he never got"?

Webster's definition of coward: "A person who lacks courage; a timid or pusillanimous person"

Yep, that sounds like me!

Webster's definition of "phony": "pretending to be other than one is; putting on false appearances; insincere; hypocritical"

Now does this sound like you? Endlessly, preaching the virtues of democracy, freedom and the like but only when it applies to other countries that suit your agenda. Yet you are selectively silent when it comes to these fundamental rights being violated in your country.
