The rightwing's big lie is "blame America first". Cheney-Bush and their policies are not "America". They represent an extreme rightwing section of America. Not even a majority. The rightwing has also done a lot of hiding behind the flag as they make their tricky dirty deals on the side. In fact some of the stuff they've been up to is darnright un-American.

The "blame America first" lie (Bush = America) is the same type of lie as "class warfare", that is the GOP defending the rights of fat cats against average people, then blaming Democrats for wanting to be fair by defending most Americans. As if Democrats are "attacking the rich" a la the French Revolution just because Cheney-Bush have served the rich well and rolled back their taxes so that many of them get off scott free.

Beware of the rightwing slogans anbd buzzwords. They are usually made up to conceal a dishgonest truth. Like Bush's CLear Skies Initiative" which increases air pollution and lets polluting plants taker their sweet time about ever correcting the situation. Or "Healthy Forests" which promotes massive increases in timber cutting including clear-cutting and "harvesting" of irreplaceable old-growth forests. What is to healthy about a clear-cut forest? It's just gone.
