DIMETHAID ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT FINANCING

Dimethaid Research has engaged McFarlane Gordon and Paradigm Capital to assist Dimethaid in completing a private placement of up to 8.6 million special warrants. The special warrants will be sold at a price of 58 cents each, providing Dimethaid with up to $5-million in gross proceeds.

Each special warrant may be exercised, without additional consideration, for one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each common share purchase warrant entitles the holder to acquire, at no additional consideration, one common share at an exercise price of 73 cents. Common shares issuable on the exercise of the special warrants are intended to be qualified by a prospectus.

The special warrants and common shares issuable on the exercise of special warrants and common share purchase warrants have not been, and will not be, registered under U.S. securities laws and absent registration or an applicable exemption, may not be offered or sold within the United States or to a U.S. person.

Net proceeds from this offering will be used for working capital purposes.

The completion of the offering will be subject to certain conditions of closing, including receipt of all regulatory approvals.
