I don't see what you problem is with that post.

Bush was having alcohol and marriage problems in the mid eighties and he turned to bible study and evangelicalism to save himself.

As a result Bush is now a "hard core" born again Christian. He credits it with saving his marriage and from his problems with the bottle.

This is common knowledge. My view is that religious fervor isn't a replacement for a fundamental lack of character in the first place. In Bush's case there is also a lack of intelligence and worldly experience. e.g. If he had gone to 'Nam maybe he would have viewed war as the ugly negative thing that it is.
