Bush's ads are very dishonest. They completely distort Kerry's positions and character. SO far, the public doesn't seem to be buying the lies. Kerry is very clear, decisive and plenty strong on defense. In fact he's a lot more experienced and smarter than Bush on defense. Bush has just wasted hundreds of billions only to make us LESS safe. The "flip-flop" thing is simply the right-wing's way of spinning Kerry's moderate and often bi-partisan positions. The lie is that he "takes" both sides of a position when in fact he merely respects both sides of the argument. Kerry is very intent upon unifying this nation, though he knows that the 20% most rightwing people will never cooperate. Still 80% is a lot better than Bush's "with us or against us" doctrine.
