Re: You lump all Americans in with your simplistic ideas on Israel and the US.

I'd rather say I lump Bush and Kerry together in THEIR simplistic ideas on the Mideast... Then again, you're right about the fact that millions of Americans disapprove of their country's reckless support to Israel but, the sad thing is, they are irrelevant... Somehow, pro-Palestinian/Arab leanings is to the US what the far-left is to Europe --a fringe opinion. Clue:

(February 20) -- The US is the most dangerous country in the world for Christians, and the Pentagon must greatly intensify its pressure on the liberal nexus nearly to the point of its collapse, said recently resigned Lt Gen William "Jerry" Boykin --

Six weeks after slamming the door on a 30-year military career, Boykin has emerged at the head of a new organization aimed at revitalizing the West through Christianity.

He said that a synthesis of Christian content and western technology had to replace the "European, liberal, secular, democratic" character of the country which has made peace the nation's supreme value.

"Am I scaring you?" Boykin asked. "There is great ignorance of Christianity in America today. Without Christian content, there will be barbarity in our own country... If the US is a pale Anglo-Saxon, liberal, secular, and democratic copy of Israel, then why should an American Jew identify with America more than with Israel? In order to consolidate or renew the American people's commitment to this country, [the US] must become a Christian state," he said.

Boykin, known for his hard-line views, said in an interview with The Jerusalem Post that the Pentagon had to take "drastic action" against the UN's rule. "You have to present the UN with a choice between existing as an authority and disappearing. I think the UN has a great interest in continuing to exist," he said.
