You are right - but just to go back to simple logic. How can people preach hatred of others and expect that the deity would reward that? Particularly hatred based on how somebody calls the deity a name or how one genuflects towards that deity?

It's putting human emotions on the deity. Just doesn't make sense. That logic makes the Bible about the same as DC Comics. Worship Superman.
