You need to read a bit more closely and dispassionately--I didn't say that you accused Bush of lying. I read your post and your point is clear; I don't intend to mischaracterize it--you believe Bush was mislead.

I think that he may have been mislead, but not necessarily, particularly if Syria is found to have been the recipient of Saddam's WMD.

Bush was surely not mislead to the extent he based the war on Saddam's ability to radically change the ME's strategic landscape by acquiring or developing a nuke or nukes in the future, something Saddam can reasonably have been thought to be able to do. That, CB, was reason enough to start the war.
