There's plenty of proof there for you to look up. But the main proof is this simple fact. Chalabi wanted the US to oust Saddam militarily. This is why he was appointed to the INC by Bush I. He met with Clinton many times to try to convince him to unseat Saddam militarily. Clinton was not buying that...but left open the possibility for an internal coup. When Clinton left power, Chalabi found an ally in Cheney. The Bush administration was rife with Hawks ready to bring the military power of the US to Iraq. All we needed now was some proof...some intelligence to sell it to the American people...and that was provided in ample quantities by Chalabi...just ask Powell. Orca
