before that there is no life separate from the mother to talk about. There's the life of the father too. Dead people just don't procreate. That's one of the basic tenets of evolution. (Even that is changing via technology). After birth you kill the baby and its legally consider murder. I agree with the concept. I just tend to think that the cutting of the umbilical is a more certain way to define birth than some other combination of criteria, especially if it is going have a large legal ramification. TP TP
