f it comes out in one of those sources, please do let me know.

You don't need that column to come out in the NYT to establish whether Jimmy Massey exists, as a human being, a resident of the United States of America, and that is all you and I are talking about. I made sure that "the Massey charges" were not the issue, didn't I, Bill, when I posted this?

You posted, "The Jimmy Massey character is a hoax."

This would seem to imply that there is no Jimmy Massey of Waynesvill, NC who made the statements at the link below.

Is that what you meant when you posted that "The Jimmy Massey character is a hoax"? Or did you mean some other, more 'special,' thing?

Bill, I think that perhaps you are changing your definition of 'hoax' to a more 'special' one!

Which means that you are retracting your earlier position that "The Jimmy Massey character is a hoax" meant that he didn't exist.

Right? You retract? It's now about whether you believe his charges or not? Do I have this correct?

:)

Bill! Do these PM's I just received persuade you that Massey exists? (Oh, I shouldn't post this until we've made the bet, should I?!) :

From: The information clearing house... a longer account re: Jimmy Massey's experiences -- which also mentions about him having been a "recruiter" as mentioned in the above entry from the Sylva Herald.

And in case you doubt that that reporter exists...he's from "The Enterprise Mountainer" (see themountaineer.com mentioned at the bottom of the 2nd reference)
and just had this article posted today (on an unrelated topic)
