Uh....

Bill, let me tell you what to do now. Say, "I was mistaken, apparently, when I confirmed that what I meant by "The character Jimmy Massey is a hoax" was that Jimmy Massey didn't exist. I retract that, and state now that my I don't know how much of what he has reported is accurate, and believe that he is possibly making it all up, based on a comment by a friend of mine."

Have you forgotten that the subject was whether "the Jimmy Massey character is a hoax" or not? and that I nailed you down very concretely on what you meant by that?

I don't know whether what he says is true or not, either, Bill. Others have said the same sorts of things, and many innocent Iraqis have been tortured and some have been murdered, to the amusement of a some soldiers, so on the face of it, I have no reason automatically assume that this honorably discharged 12 year gung ho marine veteran boot camp guy was making things up.

So here we are:

Neither you nor I know how much of what he reported about why he left and joined Veterans for Peace is true.

Both you and I know that the character Jimmy Massey is not a hoax.

My friend says it's a hoax.

My friend says that you are a hoax. He says that you're just a creation of Neocon to make him look more reasonable. In fact, though Neocon and Bill have different email addresses, they share the same password (though Neocon may claim that he loaned Bill his laptop on a bus).

And, my friend reads the NY Times, the LA Times, AND watches Fox News.

Whose friend is more credible?
