I did NOT enjoy Vinegar Hill-- dark and hatefilled. But then I read Limbo, Ansay's autobiography, and really enjoyed it. She was studying to be a concert pianist and developed a muscular disorder that forced her to stop playing. No wonder she writes dark.

I love Trollope and have read all her books but didn't realize she writes under another name- WIll look for it- thanks! Haven't read Disobedience, but liked everything else of Hamilton's - Map of the World, Book of Ruth, and A Short History of a Prince. I have GOT to stop buying books and catch up. Am so far behind. With all the playing this semester, I haven't read nearly the way I usually do because I fall asleep as soon as I open a book, and I haven't written a word. But we had our last choir concert last night, and I am a free woman for two months.
So what did I do today? Write a book? Read three novels? No, I sat and played this stupid new game on the computer until my eyes hurt.
