BG,

MACD is my main tool, but I use an oscillator with my trading gear, Terra Nova/Real Tick...I back it up with Wordens Bros BOP indicator, and of course, Stockcharts...I still use RSI, Stoch, StochRsi, A/D, ADX, etc...but the MACD Oscillator works pretty well.

Bert

Yah, Bert chipped in I see and I was gonna suggest him. I thought he used it a lot.

I use momentum a lot lately, a long with RSI, a little StochRsi, and a little MACD to supplement my EW.

I am also following Schultz's Spinner some of recent, shown on the JS website. I noticed he appears to have it tuned to react a little faster than MACD.

I continue to learn more about using these fibo pivots on Qcharts, a couple of momentum parameters on Metastock, along with an inertia and fractal parameter on Metastock.

Paralysis from too much analysis.

I don't yet know just what to think about this run so far. I like the fact that HUI is no longer at the low, but I guess I am trying to take it one day at a time. Either HUI has been and is projecting a big rise in POG very soon, that may have started, or it will correct pretty good at some point again. POG can rise pretty fast once it gets going. Maybe next week we will see.

I prefer Fast Stos for a market like the metals stocks, they're a little too volatile for MACD, IMO.....

Not my favorite indicators, but I do look at them from time to time....
