Many folks compare terrorist orgs to LCN ("the Mafia" which on many details is quite wrong, but — whatever...), yet for some parallels, LCN was invincible for several decades and generations. Now, you can't pay a goomba enough to fill John Gotti's or Chin Gigante's slot. LCN is quite broken, every Family, from Gambino to Bonanno is operating at 10% or less of their 70s-80s strength, and everyone is afraid to take a leadership role. Despite any Leftie assertions, cutting off the head of the snake really does wax the critter. We're starting to see that in ME. "Tribal" thing, ubetcha.
