Why? It seems all Kerry has to do is let Bush destroy himself as results of his own policies come back to bring him down. He doesn't even need to spend any money, just let Bush spend all of his trying to buy some traction. Bush is the weakest incumbent I've seen since Jimmy Carter.
Even some of the more sensible Republicans are starting to edge away from the loser. Next time you see the monkey on TV, look closely at his eyes - you'll see fear there. Fear of following Poppy into the dustbin of failed Presidencies. For someone with the "daddy" issues Bush has, that's got to be the abyss.

Oh right. Like you're a Kerry or Nader supporter. As if.
Diehard Bushies who pretend to be disaffected democrats are immediately busted on this thread. We do remember your last 100 anti-Kerry pro-Bush posts.

Kerry is one of the smartest political strategists around.
He will pick his VP when it suits him. He will also take his time studying each candidate. Why make rushed decisions like Bush always does?

Kerry's views are as clear as they CAN be nine months before he'd have to take power in an ever-changing Iraqi and budgetary world. Will Iraq be better or worse? Will there be another 9-11? Will Bush deficits be 1.5 trillion or 2.5 trillion? We don't yet know.

Don, Bush reminds me of a UPS delivery man. Always in a rush to do things. He declared Mission Accomplished before it was time. He started the Iraqi war before the weapons inspectors finished their job. He started his campaign for President in Marc, the earliest start of a re election campaign in history.

I don't think Kerry has to compete with Bush on this. He needs to be cool, analytical and decisive. What is the hurry for a VP? After all, isn't the VP who gets up every morning, opens the bedroom window the first this in the morning and if it is sunny decides to golf after checking on how the President's health is that day. Off course in Bush's case it is "exactly the opposite" and hence it is important for the people to know who Bush's VP is not Kerry? Kerry does not have to rely on his VP. If he was called to testify in front of the 9/11 commission, he would go in to testify all by himself, not with his VP?
