They are tax law. Tax avoidance is what you are doing with your home plans, and that is tax law that is perfectly acceptable. Nothing wrong with it. Just because you do not use another avoidance issue permitted by tax law, does not change that it is also acceptable, as long as it is law.

As for poor people having few loopholes, they also pay few taxes...if any. FICA was created by the democrats and has exploded through the years. It is a bad deal. I agree with you.
