The countries will support the US, not the person.

Wrong, outside the US there is a huge difference between a US lead by the Moron of the Century or the US lead by someone else. Nader or Kerry, as long as it is not Bush it is OK with the rest of the world.

we are the ones who give them aid and have the power and the markets. We are also the ones who have the debt - Over $1 Trillion of our treasuries held by foreign banks.

Apparently there are many folks who don't realize that the US needs more than a billion dollars a day from foreign countries just to keep itself afloat. Sheesh!
