I recall reading not to long ago a big fuss because they are planning on televising almost nothing of the conventions.

I would bet that the story followed at the Republican convention will be the dissent outside it. That's to be expected, conventions are boring, and "1968 Chicago" was fun for the media.

Didn't 4 years ago one of the nets not cover any of the Republican convention, then claimed that they had made a terrible error in not doing so, so they then televised the Dem's convention?

I just barely remember something like that.
