Sharon was just about screaming at us to get on with it a few months before we finally attacked Iraq

No, he wasn't. That's not true at all. Israel was and is much more worried about Iran (currently supplying missiles to Gaza) than Iraq.

Steve - I was going to answer your post but it is so far from reality that maybe you want to look at it again. I thought you had indicated that you were taking a more objective view of these things. You clearly posted out of some type of anger rather than logic.

The news on Chalabi are a tremendous embarrassment to the administration and probably Don Rumsfeld in particular. I doubt they are happy with it. Yet it looks like they finally had to do something about Chalabi.

Steve.
When something doesn't fit your view, it's bull shit?
well, you might get to the top....:

A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to the
top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy."

"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull.
"They're packed with nutrients."

The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough
strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after
eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a
fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.

He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Management Lesson - Bull shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.
