I have been painting kitchen cabinets all day. I am covered with white paint. The floor people come next week to lay ceramic tile in the kitchen and sunroom so I figured I could fling paint around with no concern. And I did. My kitchen is glow-in-the-dark white. I was really grossed out by my housekeeping skills though. Amazing things can hatch underneath your cabinets. Dan is having to lift the floor and it is NOT a pleasant job. They won't do it, because of some weird asbestos thing. Even though we laid this floor ourselves seven years ago. Badly. And Cheaply.
But now I am getting classy ceramic.
And new carpet.
And I did get the White Chocolate.
Is that the yummiest name for carpet?
I can chew on it when I get a sweet tooth.
I have no kids, and no cats. I can't believe I have reached a stage in life when I can have almost white carpet.
I feel like a grownup.

I forgot to say have a good time tonight. Tell me about the pheasant. I have had pheasant only twice. Our dear friends, Size 2 Jan and Chuck, the Manly Hunter, brought pheasant to our Thanksgiving dinner one year, and another time, they had a formal dinner featuring his pheasant.
I don't remember the pheasant very well. All twelve of us had to go out to the garage and admire the tailfeathers that he was drying to use as a decorative table centerpiece in the future. It may have affected my ability to appreciate the pheasant.
This was year ago, and those tailfeathers never did show up on the table, so I think that little project failed.
Can you tell I am drinking a chocolate martini Dan handed me as a reward for all that painting? It will go with my White Chocolate carpet.
