Alot that stuff is being redone because its Gen-X childhood nostalgia. I'm surprised they haven't done an A-Team movie.

I chuckled a couple weeks ago when Mike said he saw an Italian 20 something wearing a Spiderman shirt, and thought that was strange. Spiderman is for kids, right? Nope. The kids in their early 20s are big into 80s and early 90s pop culture kids stuff like comics, cartoons, and card and role playing games. I've heard it described as a generational echo. The kids in their early 20s remember this stuff from their older brothers and sisters that are my age. Marvel Comics was near bankrupt in the 90s as my generation grew up and stopped buying comics. As you can see from all the Marvel heroes on theater screens, they're making quite a comeback.

I was a bit wierded out at first. Nothing wierder than seeing a Decepticon sticker on the back of a grown man's BMW.
