thanks Russ. solid analysis. I think we saw a st top in oil prices baring disasters. i am intrigued by lambeths thought that oilers go up on a oil sell.....but i think you are following good money management here. i am long, but only a first third and will add on sell offs

Boy that A/D line has really taken a dive...Sub $50 yet to be seen??? Appears the smart somebodies were really selling out energy shares, having had a good run, as the commodities got the publicity.

Indeed, does look like a miner repeat coming in energy stocks but again given the overhead it's hard to imagine the climb back being swift....maybe just sure little steps as the HUI is taking....There is considerably more earnings and cash flow value in E&Ps that should be realized eventually.....but that's not the story right here....

CNQ - big spike in volume on hard down toward support....
