Hi Mark.

Very nice to hear from you. I'm delighted that you acquired and read "Tragedy and Hope". Truth be told, I only made it through the first third of the book, because I was mostly interested in the late nineteenth century thru to WWII period. But I found the monetary dynamics leading up to and surrounding the Great Depression of the 1930's the most interesting.

((I did a little research and found out that combined C and JPM now account for over 50% of the New York Federal Reserve.))

Holy concentration of economic power batman. So, I wonder if the Fed will conduct monetary policy more in the interests of American society, or more in the interest of the derivative portfolios of C & JPM and their dominant shareholders? ... umm, that was a rhetorical question ;)

Thanks for the "theyrule" site. That's a wicked map!

Best wishes,
Glenn
