well if you are going to look at lifetime of fundraising, Bush at one point had $170 million. Kerry had effectively zero. But Bush spent 50 million on ads, and moveon raised 52 million according to this, plus another 50 million Kerry himself raised.

Bush has been fundraising this quarter also, but not at Kerry's pace, and 527s are non existant for republicans.

So both candidates at this moment are within 20 million of one another. No major advantage either way.
