Cheney doesn't seem to be helping much, however it appears the Bush's must own him big time from earlier Administration or out of loyalty. I think all the oil profititeering insinuations are nonsense with Halliburton--the guy isn't profiting at all from this. I just think that the border with Iran with Afghanistan was good enough to put the real pressure on Iran without Iraq. But they wanted to put the militaryh pressure on Syria and Iraq simultaneously and here is this thorn in the side in Iraq, costing us millions defending no fly zones, firing on our planes, don't know what WMD he has or doesnt have for sure, that would provide a border to both of them. Thats what really happened.
