MSNBC is reporting they have a video tape of the wedding party showing a wedding taking place before the site was attacked in Iraq.

The Chalabi situation is curious. I would say they used him for intelligence-gathering purposes but had no intention of allowing him to gain ultimate power in Iraq. Chalabi is a crafty character who was probably angling to become top dog once U.S. hands over reins of gov to the Iraqi people. Our recent actions were to discredit him & thereby prevent him from grabbing personal power a la Saddam Hussein once U.S. troops depart. Chalabi in turn was using his position for financial gain. Apparently Wolfowitz and Chalabi are 2 sly foxes who were using each other for their own purposes, but Wolfowitz knew he was in control of the game all along & finally pulled the rug out from under Chalabi as the turnover of power is imminent.
