Fairness would dictate a state income tax.

Gates, Sr. favors an income tax.

My concerns would be a) I don't trust our government to impose an income tax while, at the same time, enacting reasonable tax reform on the sales/use and b&o fronts; and b) we'd be creating yet another agency (or expanding DOR) to handle administration of the new tax.

Not to mention Tim Eyman will be out in front with another of his hare-brained initiatives.

I thought Texas was the only state left without an income tax. I know they're having to get very creative there to make ends meet. They're talking income tax too.

Kenneth do not blame a poor law practice on taxes. If an attorney has a "tough" time raising 3 kids, then buy them Fords instead of BMWs...what a crock...

Alan, like you, I am a resident of WA state. When we were raising 3 kids on one salary, it was tough.
