That's the problem all right in Seattle. Limited options and lots of traffic. Result ride and park.

Doesn't matter which city you look at...stuck in traffic is no fun. I do agree that San Francisco is pretty bad too. And LA as well is nightmarish...as is New York and Atlanta...even DC sucks.

One thing about California drivers they have increased the capacity of the freeways by simply driving faster and with less headway (space between cars) which means more cars per minute per lane...but more sweat too! Whee nothing like 70 mph with a front row seat on the bumper in front of you...hope he doesn't stop!

With rising gas prices...maybe traffic will fall off? Might be the only bright spot there.

Mass transit just doesn't sell well in the US. In Europe where gas is $5 bucks a gallon and more...they take the train and they get to chat with the pretty girls instead of trying to get a peek at them through tinted windows at 70 mph! LOL!
