I did know both of my grandmothers. Stayed a couple of summers with the one who lived in a farm town of 300 people. Lots for a young kid to do in a place that size.

You did. All of mine were alive when I was born and I was 40 years old when my last Grandfather died. Wonderful wealth of information on our town and the goings on through the years. I was 14 when my Great Grandfather died and spent many hours with him also.

There are some advantages to having a relatively young family I guess.
