The uneven way in which some people get booted from SI and others, who commit much more obnoxious TOU violations are still posting away their diatribes, are still among us begs the question of what exactly the criteria for "getting the eternal boot" are.

I am not saying Ray did not violate TOU. I am saying quite a few other TOU violators are still going about their merry insults, usually rich in sexual content and graphic detail.

One should be able to ask about these practices, and expect polite and respectful answers from SI administrators. Without snippy attacks from authority worshippers with petty grudges from some past defeat, if at all possible...

That is how customer service works in Amazon.Com, and I cannot see why it should have lower standards here on Silicon Investor.

Re: The admin are far too involved on this site (in terms of how they post, and in the way they look just like the customers- when there ought (imo) to be more remove). That's just the way it is.

The interference/meddling by SI managers into the threads somehow follows a pattern similar to that of the media-military complex itself... I mean, the journalists working for the Sulzbergers, the Conrad Blacks or the Rupert Murdochs are supposed to toe their bosses' lines! They are not free, they can't investigate on issues detrimental to their owners, etc.

Anyway, what's even more regrettable than SI managers mixing up with posters is SI's lack of statistics: they should provide posters with data/statistics on their audience --but then, perhaps there isn't that much of an audience?
