He just announced his intention to "Mogadishu" and have every soldier out by the end of his first term...

And Bush doesn't expect to be out in five years?

Only americans soldiers now die in iraq. The brits are largely in a secured area. I kind of think one term is enough for an exit strategy from iraq. If we really wanted to win or expected to win, we should have been far more prepared. I am not military strategist and stupidly bought into this war on the cheap idea--somehow it would work. But i clearly remember the unattended munitions dumps whose munitions are now killing americans and iraqis at a much higher rate than earlier. I put common sense aside and once again fell for the bull shit that our leaders somehow know better. This current team proved to be assholes. The daily news has become a comedy--and should be produced by HBO. Instead of sex in the city or OZ it could be sex in the prisons. Instead of the sopranos it could be the Chalabis. Instead of JAG we cane havae DOD-- a musical comedy starring donny and the neocons. And so on. And you think with this minimal committment by the US and none by the rest of the world that, 5 years of this crap is not enough. Mike
