McCain's impremature will automatically give Kerry credibility among independents, moderates and yes Virginia even some conservatives who dont buy into the "never apologize, never explain" approach to winning.
I spent last year being sick of the left and their approach to the war and now this year i am sick of the right and the course of action taken to win this war. A pax on the parties and as i hope McCain will say "Country over Party". That will lock up my vote as well. Mike
PS I think bush will be terrible on TV this evening. It will be another one of his broken record speeches. Nothing new.

Anyone of any party running for any office who said that would get my vote.

They all "say" that...

The line between steadfast leadership and true-believer pigheadedness is a thin one in politics, karen. Usually it is not determined by the attitudes and actions of the politicians involved. It is purely determined by the outcome of the policy. Good outcome = steadfast leadership. Bad outcome = true believer pigheadedness.
