Poet. You said....." al Qaeda is an international group, lorne ".....

Poet I am sure you are much better with words and there meaning than I but using the word " international " to describe a bunch of crazed islamic killers is stretching it a bit.

You said...." Bin Laden's a Saudi multimillionaire. The 9-11 pilots were from various countries and had ties to various other nations."....

I'm sure we are all pretty well aware where bin stupid and his band of killers came from and that bin himself has money but I disagree that these killers had ties with other nations and I assume you are saying this to justify using the term " international group ".

To say they had ties with other nations seems to suggest government contacts. There may be a few ME countries where government had ties in some way with bin and his killers...Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan but the common thread here is they are all islam. Would you refer to islam as an international religion or a world class religion. I guess the point I am trying to make is that islam or radical islam has no country.

So IMO islam terrorism is a world class terror group....saying they are international seems to somehow make them appear legit.

You said....." I think al Qaeda is delighted to see the US devoting so much of our military power in Afghanistan, not to mention to see how much yelling and screaming Americans are doing among ourselves".....

I disagree. I don't think al kida and what's left of the taliban are real happy at being chased around the mountains of Afghanistan and being killed likely don't make them real happy either.

I do agree with you that it likely pleases them that we are self destructing from within over politics. Dumb dumb.

And I agree with you diversionary tactic comment. And it's why I say there should be no left or right, just a united free people against the enemy...radical islam.

You still did not answer my question about your original post being political or not?
