HI Rob and Alydar,

I've been on record as thinking the merger has made Oracle a big laggard.

Through out my ownership Oracle has always been a cash bank and maintained positive profitability.

I think this stock has a huge potential of becoming a great magnet for conservative investors who want rock solid investments that provide a return similar to bonds or other conservative fixed income investments.

With a dividend rate and Orcl's profit record - a .40 dividend would be attractive to the huge money on the sidelines.Add to that a good Gaap accounting track record.

It could well be a blue chipper that also offers capital gains potential (large potential in my mind.Since Larry owns so much it would give him great income (at the best tax rate).

I think the future will greatly reward firms that do straight up business and reward stockholders first.

Oracle has all the stars aligned to be leader in this regard.

Those CEO's that dare to reward their stockholders first will find the world wanting to park their money in the underlying common stock.

This is just my position and I haven't really seen it fully evelve.I believe it will be future and slowly evolving attraction to capital formation.

JMHO
