True, but the Republicans railed against the Democrats shenanigans and pork barrel spending, only to continue the same if not worse when they came to power. Perhaps it's just part of the corrupting influence of power? I remember seeing one Republican Congressmen lamenting that they're spending 4 times the pork that the Democrats did, and that was something they as Republicans were always very critical of the Dems for. I think people are tiring of the hypocracy. At least with the Dems you know what you're getting, a BIG Government party, even if the Republicans won't come out and say it about themselves. How anyone can say the Republicans stand for smaller less intrusive governent after these recent years of Republican rule, is beyond me?!?
