So, we had to invade to get those old shells? Over reaction, I'd say.

I guess you'll never quite get it, now will you Rascal..

The UNSCOM inspectors discovered that Saddam was effectively producing Binary CW warheads UNDER THEIR VERY NOSES throughout 1995.

He claimed to have "disclosed" all of them, and that they were only prototypes...

But we may have just discovered that not only did he initiate actual production of them (prohibited) during the VERY SAME TIME that UNSCOM was supposed to be "inspecting" for them, but that it shows that he was unwilling to "sacrifice" his newer CW technology and that more shells might exist.

What's clear is that the individuals who placed that CW IED, didn't fully understand the nature of binary CW warheads.

It also explains why Ritter's recent comments about the discovery having been a "dud" are false.. A dud would have had fully mixed Sarin, but a faulty fuze/burster mechanism that failed to explode the casing to release the agent.

That shell had never been fired. It was taken from some location where it had been stored.
