It might wind up being a landslide, especially if Kerry is smart about who he choses as a running mate. I have a bad feeling that he's going to screw that one up and chose some dud. John Edwards would be a smart choice as he'd make more southern states competitive. Bill Richardson too, as he'd shore up the all important hispanic vote. But, if he choses someone like the governor of Iowa, someone from the left side of the party, that would be a mistake. He wouldn't be gaining any votes and if anything reinforce the rightwingers arguements that it's a leftwing ticket. The conditions are certainly ripe for landslide. We shall see...
