Like most critics of the Abu Ghraib torture, he pretends the U.S. hasn't been sponsoring torture for decades. Heck, one of our WWII bounties was the torture manual written by the Nazis. <<< ... Furthermore, Mr. Leaf said, a senior CIA official was involved in instructing officials in the Savak on torture techniques, although Mr. Leaf said that to his knowledge no americans did any of the torturing.
