It's not the GOPs job to stop Bush. It's the Democrats' job. If they can. They will get their chance in six months.

The equally relevant question is whether Republicans will, Pavlov-like, continue to defend their president with ideological and partisan reflex, or remember the example of principled predecessors who pursued truth at another dark moment.

It's obvious what kinds of Republicans we have on this list (or at least the most vocal among them...)

Ring the bell and watch them defend Bush.
