flash mass storage in cellphones......will be well under $30 per unit.

But how much storage capacity are you talking about? I just don't see flash memory having a better cost to memory capacity ratio than hard disk drives for capacities over 5 gigabyte in the next 5 years.

PS Toshiba is in a sweet spot. They manufacture both mini hard disk drives and flash memory.
