You can't rewrite history just to suit your political needs.

Negative. Bush flip-flopped as soon as he assumed office --- LONG before any of the things you allege to be 'new circumstances' ever happened.

Unless Bush is capable of Time Travel, you argument is ridiculous.

(And, since he reversed his positions so soon --- just as soon as taking office --- I conclude that he never really believed what he told the American people anyway... he lied to get votes. A not uncommon thing for a politician to do.)
