Believe it or not, I believe that the next president will continue with the strategy we currently have, regardless of party. They may not want to, but when they look at it pragmatically, they will see the necessity....pure speculation on my part.

If the next president is Kerry, it will be interesting to see how the stable of Kerry boosters respond to a continuation of the current strategy.

They'll likely approve it.

Consistency doesn't matter in the view of some.

I truly hope your right. At this point with Kerry saying he will get us out of Iraq as soon as he is elected he scares me. People believing that is true will also quite likely lead to a Spain type incident on the eve of the election. I hope not.

I don't like Kerry and he is as slippery as the come IMO. With that said I don't think he is an idiot. I can't imagine he would just pull out and let Iraq implode into chaos.

And I agree that this is the best course for the country. We appeased for way to long and it didn't work. They have to begin to believe we will hunt their ass's down wherever they are.
