As usual, Ann states the exact opposite of the truth. We created the terrorists, and it was part of OUR ideological war (on Communism).

I'm aware of the history of the Mid-east. If it wasn't for Britain's influence at one time, that culture would be stuck in the 14thC instead of the 18thC.

I'll grant you that someone should have stopped those foolhardy European Crusaders. However, after a centuries-long delay, Radical Islamists are now trying to impose their religious beliefs on everyone else. Both groups were/are barbarians.
