Can you advise me how to permanently eliminate the low ink warning window that pops up on the start up? I have XP Home Ed on a Gateway desktop. I have tried clicking the "don't remind me" box without success. Any ideas?

That worked! I removed those programs from the Task Manager as you suggested & MS search now works.

My next question is: How do I unload them from startup?
