Don't you think the height of hipocracy is people who claim to be prolife and pro death penalty?

Why are you against abortion but support abortion?

I support someone's right to have an abortion just as I support someone's right to smoke or someone's right to speak publicly on a street corner.

Its not likely I would ever do any those things but I can understand why some people want to do them.

And in addition, the pro choice people are always complaining that abortion takes away a human life. However, they have very little scientific evidence to support that position. Until the end of the first trimester, the embryo is nothing more than a clump of cells. And an embryo has very little hope of surviving outside the amniotic sac prior to the 30th week of its development, or 7 1/2 months into the pregnancy. Last time I checked, human life could live outside the anmiotic sac very nicely. Therefore, its possible that a 6 month old fetus is nothing more than an complex tumor. However, to be on the safe side, I would not abort after the first trimester except in extreme emergencies to the mother.
