Kerry warned of 9-11 style attacks as the #1 most likely threat back in 1999. read his speech on the senate floor about it. If Richard Clarke and Tenet had warned him of impending hijacking attacks, he would have acted. Definitely. He takes these things very seriously.

After the first plane hit, he would not have gone into a 3rd grade classroom and calmly read Porky Pig to little kids for a half hour until the next plane hit. After that, he would not have been joking around before he notified the American people.

Face it, Bush was completley out to lunch on terrorism and might have stopped 9-11 if he'd been on the ball. But he wasn't. That's one more reason why he's the worst president we've ever had and a disgrace to the GOP and all Americans.
