Last Clancy book I unfortunately read was about war with China to defend Taiwan. US sub sinks 18 ships and returns with no problems. On and on. Clancy had the book written as a stunt to sell his video game. Sub sinks ships and does it again. He's no Fredrick Forsythe.

I stopped reading Clancy some time ago. Too many other decent fiction authors out there.
