Why is it not fair? Kerry has deserted his elected job, but collects a paycheck, that we all know because he spends all his time campaigning. He wants to get around to many places throughout the important states as often as he can, so he could do so more economically and conservatively, but chose to go with a less fuel efficient method. Do not speak out on SUV's and fuel consumption and then not follow what you want people to believe you in... He had an opportunity to distinguish himself. He failed.
