Absolutely frightening. It's so clear now how easily we could be watching the destruction of the US as we have come to know it. From the Patriot Acts to the gutting of the US Treasury to the stealing of elections to the corruption in government contracts to the rennunciation of science and knowledge for voodoo and mythology, we're wayyyyyyy off course. Even British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who styles himself a modernizer and recites the mantra "education, education, education," has praised creationist teachers at a state-funded school in the north of England who seek to establish the Book of Genesis as the main biology textbook. Apparently the Labour Party tries to keep this part of Blair's insanity out of the press. Is there any difference between the Iranian Government and the outer edges of the Evangelical Christian populace? Is there any difference between jihadist OBL and crusader Bush/Blair? We are being run into the ground by the insane who hear God in their heads on a regular basis. Obviously more Americans care about the shady voting on American Idol than the shady voting in governmental elections. OMG
